Looking for something to do during your stay in Port Douglas? There are endless choices! One of our favourite things to do is the Sunday Markets at Anzac Park which are held from 8am to around 1pm. The markets are located on the waterfront overlooking the Coral Sea with the Mountain Ranges in the background – a truly picturesque setting!
Established almost 20 years ago, the markets are filled with authentic locally made handcrafted goods including a mix of local art, craft, souvenirs, fresh produce and more.
Locals come from all over the Far North to sell their products to inquisitive tourists and locals alike. Here you’ll find original arts and crafts, jewellery, pottery, tropical clothing, fruit and vegetables, glassware, books, homemade foods, unique Australian goods, souvenirs and more.
The markets are also a chance to meet the locals, including the artists, street theater performers and buskers.
